Welcome to the CID website. Remember that without the NMRA working for you, we would not have the model railroad industry standards that we have today nor the services of our leaders and workers. Please continue to support the NMRA with your membership.
These are the current leaders of your local organization . . . . . the Central Indiana Division of the NMRA. This group was elected in early 2022 and started their terms that spring.
Dan is starting his initial term as the Superintendent of the Central Indiana Division after serving three years as train master. His favorite parts of the hobby are building and operations. He is currently beginning work on his MMR. You can follow his modeling page on Facebook at
John begins his term as the Assistant Superintendent of the Central Indiana Division. His railroad is The Glacier Line in O scale.. John is nearing completion of his MMR, is a performing musician, and is active in his local church.
Phillip is just beginning his term as the Paymaster slot which is the treasurer of the organization. Phillip helps with all the financial dealings for the CID. His accounting efforts keep the CID Board members informed about current income and spending.
The Chief Clerk of the CID / NMRA is the secretary and also serves as Historian. Precilla records the actions at each Board of Directors meeting, notifies the membership about meetings and similar events, and keeps track of changes in the guidelines and policies.

Modeling the Murphy Branch of the Southern Railroad from Asheville, NC to Murphy, NC in the 1930’s to present. Current Trainmaster for the Central Indiana Division, starting my second term as Director at Large Midwest Region. Current Franklin Train Show Manager and Great Train Show Manager.
This is Dave’s first experience as a trainmaster, while also serving his first term as region Director at Large. Dave is a recently retired tool shop manager and now enjoys working on his HO layout, the Wildcat Valley Railway. Other activities include travel and chasing grand children around.
Having Fun with Trains for nearly 70 years. Started with Skaneateles Wooden Trains and progressed through Marx and Lionel Three-Rail O (Ow5), Standard Gauge, On30, HO, OO, HOn3, 009, N, OOO, G. Running collections as the many Snowy Mountain Railways. Enjoy Operating Sessions simulations and simply Running Trains.

Currently involved in the MWR as a Director at Large. He is working with the CID as Layout Tour Manager. He is a lifelong HO scale modeler and is currently working on his MMR.
