CID Layout Tour / Lafayette, IN area
Saturday, April 18, 2026
Details about a Spring 2026 layout tour have been e-mailed to CID members. Plan to enjoy tours of various layouts (of CID members) from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM on April 18th. In addition, plan to participate in some special programs in the Lafayette area throughout the day.

NMRA National Convention
July 27 - August 2, 2026
Registration is still open for the national convention, held this year in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The week's program includes clinics, contests, operating sessions, tours, events by SIGs, and so much more. The National Train Show is the second weekend of the event, in the convention center in downtown Chattanooga (that show is open to everyone; you do not need to be an NMRA member or registered for the annual convention). The National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) is our parent organization. The unique organization establishes standards to make all the products of our hobby work together in a reliable and consistent manner. They also help organize events and shows, publish an annual calendar and monthly magazine, and so much more!
